Dr. Margaret Apostol, MD

Dr. Margaret Apostol is a respected physician, board certified in both family and integrative medicine. She has always had a passion for researching the impact of nutrition on human health. In fact, her undergraduate degree was in Nutrition Sciences—a unique emphasis in the career of a medical doctor. After her residency through The Ohio State University, Dr. Apostol completed an integrative medicine fellowship through the University of Arizona.

Dr. Apostol has been personally mentored by world-renowned neurologist, Dr. Dale Bredesen, on cognitive health protocols to help address mild cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s. Dr. Apostol also continues to access new research and treatment breakthroughs as a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She is IFMCP Certified. Her dedication to functional medicine and whole person care continues in in her practice at Apostol IFM.

Tabatha Durand, CNP, CEN, TCRN

Tabatha Durand is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Noticing that depersonalized protocols increasingly drove healthcare, Tabatha recognized that the “art of medicine” needed restoring. Until then, she determined to continue her education (perpetually) to protect her clients from competing interests.

Tabatha graduated summa cum laude with her master’s in nursing. After an internship with Apostol IFM, she was eager to return to offer root cause care. A firm believer in the human spirit and a witness to the negative impacts of sick-care, Tabatha continues to advocate for her client’s best interests hoping that each life change elevates humanity.

Kaylee Ramirez, RN, BSN

Kaylee was born and raised in a small town in south Texas (yee-haw!). She completed nursing school at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and has been a nurse for 6 years. She specializes in dermatological conditions and has a passion for helping humans and animals alike!

She recently moved from Frisco to the Flower Mound area with her boyfriend and two English Springer Spaniel pups, Cooper & Millie. When not providing IV therapy or blood draws, she enjoys baking, organizing, interior design, strength training, hiking, and traveling.

Kelly Clark

Kelly is a transplant to Texas from Southern California and has worked in the medical field for over 15 years as a front and back-office M.A. She and her husband have raised their twins here in Texas for over a decade. In her spare time she enjoys boating, watching USC football, cooking, and attending all her children's sporting events.

Jamie Langston, RN, BSN, CCRP

Jamie Langston R.N. left the fast-paced world of cardiac ICU to serve in community nursing and clinical research. She wanted to become a change agent in what felt like a broken medical system. Langston has seen her own loved ones’ struggle with chronic conditions that weren’t served by conventional care.

Langston’s sense of compassion and advocacy led her to the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). IFM courses showed her more effective approaches to managing chronic diseases. Langston experienced health transformation herself, identifying her own root causes through genetic testing, GI mapping, and nutrient testing. She draws from all her experiences to serve and encourage patients at Apostol IFM.
